BRASS TUNING FORKS
Brass tuning forks are known for their warm, rich, and long-lasting sound. Brass is an alloy of copper and zinc, characterized by high density, corrosion resistance, and longevity. Brass tuning forks are heavier and produce a deeper, fuller sound.
Therapeutic use: Due to their rich sound, brass tuning forks are often used to release tension and stress, harmonize chakras, and improve overall well-being.
The tuning fork is activated using special mallets, a hammer, or by striking it against a hard rubber pad (such as activators). Some therapists also activate it by striking against the edge of their hand near the little finger or below the knee. Hold the tuning fork by its stem (cork, plastic, or wooden handles can also be used), let it resonate (you don't need to hear the sound, the vibration is what matters), and hold it 3 - 10 cm from the body or, depending on the frequency, place it on specific body points or painful areas.
