Chimes
Chimes or carillons are harmonising musical instruments consisting of various types of metal tubes or small pipes tuned to a particular set of tones and resonating by touching the freely suspended bead or little stone.
They can be used outdoors, indoors or in-between and they can resonate by wind, movement of the door, by passing persons etc. Or you can hold them in your hand and use them as a creative, relaxing and harmonising musical instrument.
They may have their own resonation body (Koshi, Shanti) or are made in the form of freely moving tuned metal tubes (wind chimes).
