Swinging Chimes Element SPACE are a unique vibrational musical instrument with nine tones, which resonate through various types of mallet strikes and movement of the instrument: you can play individual tones or their harmonies. You can freely move the waves in space in all directions and rotate them during motion. This creates beautiful, flowing, and harmonizing sound waves, providing a deep and unique experience for all listeners.

The Space element is tuned to the pentatonic scale C – D – F – G – A# – C – D – F – G (523–1661 Hz), which supports spatial perception, communication, acceptance, harmonization, and creative expression. In the hand, during free movement, hanging or gentle spinning, the waves create open, expansive, and spatially rich sound streams.

An eco-friendly soft case is also included.

How to play the rotating sound waves

This instrument is very easy to play – just a gentle mallet strike on the individual tubes creates impressive harmonies. However, you can also produce sound without striking: simply hold the waves in your hand, move them through space, tilt or rotate them. When suspended, you can swing or gently spin the instrument to create smooth, long vibrational flows. It is also ideal for client work, where one person plays the tones with a mallet while the therapist holds the instrument.
