The element of Earth is tuned to a pure pentatonic scale C – D – E – G – A – C – D – E – G (523–1567 Hz), supporting stability, grounding, strength, and inner balance. When held in the hand, moved freely, suspended or gently rotated, the waves create flowing, natural and harmonizing sound currents.

How to Play the Swinging Chimes

You can play this instrument very easily – just gently strike the tubes with the mallet to produce impressive harmonies. You can also make it sound without striking: hold the waves in your hands, move them in space, tilt or rotate them. When suspended, you can swing or spin the instrument to create smooth, long sound vibrations. It is ideal for working with clients, where the player can strike the tones while the therapist holds the instrument.
