Description
RAV Vast Drum B Celtic Double Ding | Melodic metal instrument
RAV Vast Drum B Celtic Double Ding is a melodic metal instrument with an expanded tonal range. Instead of one central bass tone, it has two central tones followed by nine melodic tones. Thanks to this, it offers wider possibilities for melodic playing, accompaniment, and rhythmic motifs. The B Celtic tuning has a fluid, open character with a subtly Celtic flair. It is well-suited for meditation, relaxation, intuitive improvisation, gentle musical accompaniment, and concert performance. The two central tones give the player more options when building melodic and rhythmic phrases.
RAV Vast has long reverberation, rich overtones, and a sensitive response to touch. It is played primarily with the hands - fingers, fingertips, or palms. By using different ways of striking, you can change the dynamics, tone color, and the character of the playing.
A transport bag can be purchased separately.

How to play the instrument
Place the RAV Vast in front of you or on your lap and sound the tones with your hands. The two central bass tones expand the playing possibilities and give more space for melodic and rhythmic motifs.
The long reverberation helps ensure that the tones fade out for a long time, while a stronger strike creates a brighter accent. You can also sound overtones on individual tones.
