Set of 4 Koshi Chimes Earth Symphony | in natural box

The Koshi Earth Symphony set of chimes brings home the rustling of the forest, the flow of the river, the vastness of the sea, and the calm of the mountains. Four instruments, four moods, and gentle tones that resonate long after the last movement.

The Earth Symphony is a new series from the creators of the legendary Koshi chimes. It builds upon the popular four elements and takes them a step further. Each chime features a body made of a different noble wood, and instead of eight notes, twelve sound from within.

Four landscapes in one set

• Koshi Forest (oak, F-sharp tuning)
• Koshi River (cherry, G-sharp tuning)
• Koshi Sea (maple)
• Koshi Mountain (walnut, E tuning)

How to play the Koshi

Anyone can play. Just take the chime by its cord and gently move it. The notes will sound on their own, creating a soundscape that is a little different every time.

You can hang the chimes at home and let them sound with a light movement of air. Or sit down with friends, each take one landscape in hand, and create a small symphony together.

 Handmade from the French Pyrenees

Koshi chimes are created in a small workshop at the foot of the French Pyrenees as the result of many years of delicate, patient work. Each piece is handmade and precisely tuned.

The result is a sound exceptionally rich in overtones. Individual tones blend, merge, and create a gentle, ethereal harmony that calms both mind and body.

The entire set is stored in a simple natural box that matches the wooden bodies of the chimes and protects them well during storage and travel.
