Garden chimes

Garden and outdoor chimes can be hung outdoors, on a balcony, terrace, pergola, or in the garden. They are sounded by the wind and their sound changes according to the weather, the strength of the airflow, and the place where you hang them.

Here you will primarily find more durable hanging chimes with metal tubes and other chimes suitable for outdoor use. Smaller chimes sound softer and will chime even with a light movement of air, larger chimes have deeper, fuller, and longer sustain.

You can choose not only according to appearance, but also according to size, material, and sound. A chime will have a different effect at the entrance to the house, differently on a smaller balcony, and differently in a larger garden.

For individual chimes, you will find sound samples and videos, so you can choose the one you like the most.

How to choose an outdoor chime?

• Choose according to location, size, material, and sound.
• A smaller and softer chime is suitable for a smaller balcony or by a window.
• A larger chime with a deeper and longer sustain will stand out better on a terrace, pergola, or in a larger garden.

What size to choose for a balcony, terrace, or garden?

• For a balcony, we recommend a smaller or medium chime that will not sound too distinct.
• You can choose a larger chime for a terrace or pergola.
• Deeper and more distinct hanging chimes, which have more space around them, are also suitable for the garden.

Which materials are suitable for outdoors?

• More durable chimes with metal tubes and a surface finish suitable for the outdoor environment are best for outdoor use.
• We recommend following the specific description for each chime, as individual materials may vary.

How will the chime sound in the wind?

• In weak wind, the chime sounds only occasionally and gently.
• With stronger airflow, it will sound more frequently and distinctly.
• Therefore, it is good to choose a place where the chime will sound well but will not disturb you.
