BRASS TUNING FORKS
Brass tuning forks are known for their warm, rich, and long-lasting sound. Brass is an alloy of copper and zinc characterized by high density, corrosion resistance, and durability. Brass tuning forks are heavier, offering a deeper and fuller sound.
Therapeutic Use: Thanks to their rich sound, brass tuning forks are often used to release tension and stress, harmonize chakras, and improve overall well-being.
You set the tuning fork in motion using special mallets, a hammer, or by striking it against a hard rubber pad (such as activators). Some therapists also activate it by striking it against the outer edge of their hand or below the knee. Hold the tuning fork by the stem (handles made of cork, plastic, or wood can also be used), set it vibrating (you don't necessarily have to hear the sound, it is mainly about the vibration), and hold it at a distance of 3–10 cm from the body, or place it on specific points on the body or painful areas depending on the frequency.
