SAVITA Drum "Cosmic Flower" is a double-sided melodic metal drum with 20 tones in two tunings. One side is tuned in B-minor, the other in Mixolydian E. By turning the drum, you can transition between two different musical characters. The surface is adorned with a hand-painted design in shades of green, blue, purple, and pink, resembling a glowing flower in the vastness of the night sky. The motif connects the natural shape of a flower with the cosmic impression of light, depth, and color transitions. Thanks to its hand-crafted decoration, the SAVITA Drum is not only a musical instrument but also a beautiful work of art that is a joy to behold.

The drum is made of carbon steel and, thanks to its two playing sides, offers wide possibilities for melodic playing, intuitive improvisation, gentle rhythms, and meditative accompaniment.

It is played primarily with soft mallets. You can also play gently with your fingers; the sound is then quieter and softer. SAVITA Drum is suitable for meditation, relaxation, music therapy, home playing, and gentle musical accompaniment.

How to play the drum

Place the drum in front of you or on your lap and sound the individual tones with soft mallets. You can play with one mallet or two mallets - simple melodies, gentle rhythms, flowing motifs, or your own improvisation.

One side is tuned in B-minor, the other in Mixolydian E. By turning the drum, you obtain the second tuning and thus a different musical character. You can also play with your fingers, but the sound is quieter and softer than when playing with mallets.
