How to play the body monochord

You place the body monochord directly on the client's body, for example on the back, chest, or abdomen, and gently run your fingers across the strings. Long, flowing sound layers full of overtones are created, allowing the client to perceive the sound and gentle vibrations directly in the body.

The monochord can also be played independently in a room, for example during meditation, relaxation, or a sound bath.

If you work with children, smaller clients, or need a more easily portable instrument, take a look at the smaller 70 cm version. If you want melodic possibilities in addition to resonance, the meditation monochord LENA 100 cm may be more suitable. For concert and broader musical use, we recommend the concert kotamo.
