The bed features a length of 190 cm, a width of 74 cm, and is fitted with 60 strings. Thanks to a special acoustic design, it creates a rich, deep, and harmonic sound, whose vibrations are transmitted throughout the entire body. The client thus perceives the tone not only through hearing, but also through direct contact with the instrument.

Two Separate Monochords

The bed features two separate monochords—one on each playing side. Each of them has a different fundamental tuning, allowing the therapist to work with two distinct acoustic and vibrational registers.

One side may be suited for gentler, brighter, and more relaxing work, while the other side is ideal for deeper, more physically pronounced vibrational effects. This allows the course of the therapy to be better adapted to the specific client, space, and purpose of the session.
