ABOUT THE MONITORS

The SRP 600 monitors are active studio monitors designed for near-field listening and are characterized by a wide frequency and dynamic range. They are ideal for all types of studio applications—recording, mixing, and post-production. They deliver a very detailed and full sound across the entire frequency spectrum and can serve as perfect main monitors for small to medium-sized studios as well as complementary reference monitors in larger studios. The construction of the monitors consists of a cast aluminum body, a 1" silk dome tweeter (with perfect off-axis response) mounted in a special waveguide, and a 6.5" Kevlar woofer providing full, solid bass and clear transients. The Class AB amplifier provides 80+50 W of power, offering adequate headroom and dynamics. The maximum acoustic pressure level is reported at an impressive 107 dB. The rear panel allows for adjustment of the bass and treble levels (Bass Tilt -2 dB, -4 dB, -6 dB at 80 Hz; Treble Tilt -2 dB at 15 kHz; Bass Roll-Off 80 Hz, 6 dB/octave) depending on the room acoustics. The rear of the monitor is also equipped with adapters (M6) for various mounting options. The monitor has balanced XLR + TRS inputs.
