ABOUT THE MONITORS

SRP 400 monitors are the most compact active monitors in the Sonodyne SRP series and offer an excellent reference for how a mix translates on smaller speakers. The enclosures of these monitors are made of cast aluminum and are equipped with a 4.5" woofer that uses CURV material, known for its remarkable bass and transient response. The 1-inch tweeter with a silk dome is mounted in a special waveguide. Both speakers are driven by a class AB amplifier with a power output of 25 + 25 watts. The amplifier provides the monitors with adequate headroom and dynamics, achieving a maximum SPL of an impressive 100 dB. Users have access to EQ controls on the rear panel for room compensation (HF + LF). Threaded inserts (M6) on the rear and bottom offer various mounting options. The SRP 400s work with XLR and TRS inputs.
