Line Audio CM4 – Condenser Microphone

The CM4 model from the acclaimed Swedish manufacturer Line Audio Design is the proud successor to the legendary CM3 microphone.

This top-tier small-diaphragm condenser microphone with a cardioid polar pattern is characterized by an incredibly natural, detailed, and precisely balanced sonic response. It is an absolutely ideal choice for faithful recording of acoustic instruments – from strings and plucked instruments to brass and piano, as well as ethnic instruments, vocals, or entire chamber and choral ensembles. The result is always a perfectly clean, full, and highly musical sound without any distracting artifacts. The sonic response remains exceptionally stable and natural even when capturing from various angles.

Thanks to its robust and carefully designed construction, the CM4 also excels at recording percussion instruments, where it can fully capture punchy depth, power, and the finest transients. It achieves equally great results when capturing amplified instruments. This makes it a truly universal studio and stage tool in every sense of the word, designed for both professional recording studios and demanding live productions.

A significant advantage of this model is its extremely compact dimensions. The microphone's size is close to a standard XLR connector, allowing for very easy placement in space without obstructing the musicians. Together with its elegant matte black finish, it is visually very unobtrusive on stage. Each unit undergoes careful manual production directly in Sweden, during which each capsule is individually measured and precisely tuned. Combined with precise internal circuitry, the Line Audio CM4 delivers premium sound quality for the most demanding applications at an incredibly affordable price.
