String psaltery - variations on a medieval theme. The tones of this instrument are very " bright", ethereal and subtle, full of overtones and beautiful resonances. The anthroposophic approach refers this instrument as a " tool of light". Unlike classical string instruments psaltery tones are fixed and there is no need to form their exact pitch by the fingers of the left hand.
This bowed psaltery is characterised by a quality craftmanship, beautiful sound, solid maple back and sides, fine spruce top and tonal range f1 - g3. Includes bow, rosin and tuning key.
