Pentatonic Flutes
Pentatonic flutes are simple wind instruments that use the pentatonic (five-tone) scale. These flutes have four holes and are made from black elder with subtle inlay work. They are popular in music therapy and education due to their easy playability. Their soft, soothing tone creates pleasant harmonic melodies. They are particularly popular in traditional Asian music, but currently find application in modern world music and meditation music.
