Description
Old Tibetan bowl 2828 g
An old Tibetan bowl with a diameter of 30 cm and a weight of 2828 g, made of a traditional seven-metal alloy, with a beautiful fine patina on the surface. This rare bowl has a deep and full sound with a long sustain, which you can creatively change according to the strength and point of impact or by circling the mallet around the rim. Due to its size and weight, it belongs to the bowls that are best showcased when placed in front of you or directly on the body - the sound and vibrations then penetrate deep and fill the entire space around you. Its sound can bring deep calm, relaxation, and a return to the present moment - whether you are playing it for yourself, for clients, or for a group during meditation or yoga. You can use it to harmonize space and body - or place it on areas that would particularly welcome deeper resonance.
For this bowl, we recommend a larger wooden mallet for playing by circling, and a larger felt mallet for playing by striking. Each of our old Tibetan bowls is a unique original, and therefore you can choose exactly the one that resonates with you best - according to the recording or in person in our showroom.
