INTERESTING FACTS
The bansuri is a traditional Indian bamboo flute with a long history in classical Indian music. The instrument is made from a single piece of bamboo with six or seven finger holes and one blowing hole. The sound of the bansuri is soft and melodic, often used in both Hindustani and Carnatic musical traditions. This instrument is closely associated with Indian mythology, especially with the god Krishna, who is often depicted playing it. Bansuri flutes come in various lengths and tunings, allowing for a wide range of melodies and tones to be played.
