It can also be played gently with fingers, producing a softer, quieter sound.

How to Play the Drum

Place the drum in front of you and strike the individual tongues using soft mallets. One mallet is suitable for simple melodies and slower playing, while two mallets allow for smoother melodic lines, gentle rhythms, and faster note switching.

Thanks to the wider range, you can play longer melodies, repeating motifs, and your own improvisations. Individual notes can be numbered so you can also play using simple numbered notation.
