Frog Drum

The Frog Drum is a melodic metal musical instrument with a beautiful, long-sustaining sound. In character, it is close to RAV Vast instruments, but it is more affordable. It is therefore suitable for anyone looking for a pleasant meditative instrument with a rich sound who does not want to invest in more expensive instruments in this category right away.

The body of the instrument is made of high-quality steel with a heat-treated surface that helps protect it against corrosion. Inside, it features solid resonators, thanks to which the instrument maintains a stable tuning – there is no need to retune it even after years of playing. Each piece comes from a small Russian workshop and thus bears the distinctive character of handmade craftsmanship.

The Frog Drum has a central bass note in the middle and several melodic notes around the perimeter. It is played with the hands – using fingers, fingertips, or palms. For a more intense and pronounced sound, rubber mallets can also be used. Playing is intuitive and suitable for both complete beginners and more experienced players.

The instrument is perfect for meditative playing, relaxation, creative improvisation, music education, and music therapy. It is also well-suited for schools, social care facilities, or home playing.
