ABOUT THE INSTRUMENT
A percussion musical instrument. A flexible steel band is attached to the top of a metal frame, which is sounded by two balls attached to the band, set in motion by the oscillating movements of the hand.
When playing, the flexaton is held in the right hand so that the thumb can bend the band, thus changing the pitch of the tone.
