Didgeridoo
Didgeridoo is a traditional Australian wind instrument with a deep, sustained tone and a wide spectrum of overtones. It does not play melodies like a flute - its strength lies in the long, pulsating sound, rhythm, breath, and changes in timbre.
The tone is created by relaxed, vibrating lips. Furthermore, you can shape it with your breath, tongue, voice, and oral cavity. The result can be a deep, calm tone, rhythmic pulsing, animal sounds, vocal effects, and rich layers of overtones. A more advanced technique is circular breathing, thanks to which the didgeridoo can sound continuously without interrupting the tone for many minutes.
Didgeridoo is a very earthy instrument. You do not just feel the sound with your ears, but often also in your chest, in your breath, and in the whole space around you. It is suitable for meditation, rhythmic playing, music therapy, harmony with other instruments, and for solo playing.
In our offer, you will find straight, spiral, and smaller travel didgeridoos. Each shape has a slightly different character - some sound deep and powerful, others are more compact and practical to carry. We recommend listening to a sound sample for each one.
