Caxixi shaker
Description
From Ghana, these caxixi (ka-shee-shee) were once thought to summon enchanted spirits and scare away evil.
Two different sounds can be made by either shaking the pebbles onto the disc or into the weave.
- Sizes vary from 16 to 20 cm high.
