The cajón is a percussion instrument of Latin American origin. It is usually a wooden box made of wood with a sound hole on one side. It is an important part of Cuban and Peruvian music, used in flamenco and rumba. Recently, it has been increasingly heard in other music styles as well.
The cajón is played with fingers and palms by drumming on the soundboard or its edge. The player sits astride the instrument. Inside, there are additional longitudinal soundboards with metal strings, and depending on the place of the strike on the board, the cajón sounds differently.
Handmade wooden cajón made of beech and birch plywood with professional sound.
Rubber feet ensure the stability of the instrument.
